Environmental work / Trash Series
Being surrounded by woods, lakes and rocky landscapes has made me aware of the importance of protecting and living in harmony with our environment. I have transformed the debris I collect during morning walks into finely drawn graphite images of found objects. A number of the works convey the impression that nature is watching us as we destroy our environment (and ultimately ourselves) with garbage, pollution and a selfish disregard for our actions.
